The Kim Lab at Georgia Tech is interested in developing and implementing novel sensor technologies to investigate biological processes and detect disease early.
We employ highly interdisciplinary research techniques, including nanotechnology, material science, bioanalytical chemistry, bioengineering, and data science.
We are in the School of Chemistry and Biochemistry. You can find us on the 4th floor of the Krone Engineered Biosystems Building at 950 Atlantic Dr NW., Atlanta, Georgia 30332.

SERMACS 2024: Mijin is organizing the ‘Nanomaterials in Medicine and Biology‘ session (link). The meeting will be held in Atlanta, October 23-26, 2024. Scientists (in all levels) whose research focuses on nanomaterials in biomedicine are welcome to submit abstracts!
Awards: Sebastian has been selected as the recipient of a President’s Undergraduate Research Salary Award at Georgia Tech. So well deserved!
